Renee's Café

Great food and great atmosphere! This place never fails for a quick bite on the run, or spending a relaxing weekend with the family. Their shakes here are awesome with a variety of flavors! You can choose to eat inside with comfort or outside under their covered areas, which are great for groups or enjoying the summer weather. This place is walking distance from the new Lakeport Park, the marina or downtown shopping. Limited parking space with some street side parking.

Cute little diner with great staff and wonderful food. Had the triple decker club sandwich with fries. Bacon was crisp, toast was toasty, lettuce was crisp and the sandwich was so huge I could only eat half of it. Next time I come by here, I’ll stop in for the chicken fried steak!!

My family and I were visiting from out of town for a birthday event and we came upon Renees. We were so lucky we did! The restaurant is cozy, warm and welcoming and the staff is so friendly, efficient and thoughtful. Now let's talk about the food...WOW! My partner had the tuna melt with fries, I had the burger and my mom had the blt with the soup. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the wait staff was so attentive and took excellent care of us. I saw multiple people around us ordering milkshakes and ice cream sundaes and they were raving about them. I was very close to getting one. However, the burger and sweet potato fries were a generous portion and I was stuffed. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back when I'm visiting family next time.

If you haven't tried the citrus salad at Renee's Cafe/Stars under new management. This salad is the best yet that I've had around the lake, it come with chicken and is fully loaded with walnuts,mandarin oranges, cranberries,apples,feta cheese, it's definitely a must try, and the raspberry vinaigrette tops it off!

Basic truck stop fare. If you're hungry and want a step or two above drive thru, served with grace and a smile, this is your kinda place. I got a mushroom and Swiss burger with a side of and some teriyaki. Big stack of fries and I only finished half my burger. I advise asking for extra napkins because the there's so much fixins on the burger it's gonna drip thru your fingers like a juicy burger should. Only there about a half hour and the waitress must have asked if I needed anything more at least three times. Hint if you like ice cream the banana split should be shared. I gave it my best and left half to the buzzards (joke people). I will be back.

Simple diner with lovely staff and great food! Their breakfast is my favorite but recently I tried one of their burgers and was not disappointed! Some things are pricy, like the $4 to upgrade to seasoned, curly, or sweet potato fries but otherwise Renee’s is my favorite in town and I think for the price it’s better than other similar places.

Very friendly atmosphere I had steak and egg breakfast everything was cooked the way it was supposed to it came in a decent amount of time and they answered all my questions I had I go here normally every time I come to clear Lake they also have great hamburgers and milkshakes
